Africa Dynamic Development Group (ADG) Learner Admissions and Enrolment Policy
Effective Date: 6 November 2025
1. Purpose
The purpose of this policy is to ensure that the learner admissions and enrolment process at Africa Dynamic Development Group (ADG) is fair, transparent, consistent, and aligned with the requirements of our training program. This policy outlines the criteria for admission and the steps a learner must take to successfully enroll.
2. Scope
This policy applies to all individuals wishing to enroll in any training program, qualification, short course, or e-learning module offered by Africa Dynamic Development Group (Pty) Ltd.
3. Policy Statement
ADG is committed to providing equal opportunities to all prospective learners. We will ensure that our admissions process is managed professionally and without discrimination. Our primary goal is to ensure that every enrolled learner has the necessary foundational skills to successfully participate in and complete their chosen program.
4. General Admission Criteria
To be eligible for admission to most ADG programs, a prospective learner must meet the following minimum criteria:
- Educational Requirement: A minimum of a Grade 12 (Matric) certificate or an equivalent NQF Level 4 qualification.
Language Proficiency: A demonstrated ability to read, write, and understand English, as this is the primary medium of instruction and assessment.
Technical Requirement (for E-Learning): For all online courses, learners must have regular access to a computer and a stable internet connection.
5. Course-Specific Admission Criteria
Certain programs may have additional, specific entry requirements beyond the general criteria. These may include:
- A higher-level prerequisite qualification (e.g., a specific NQF Level 5 certificate may be required for an NQF Level 6 program).
- Demonstrated work experience in a relevant field.
- Specific competencies, such as numeracy skills for finance-related courses.
- A completed and signed medical declaration for courses that are physically demanding.
All specific course prerequisites will be clearly communicated in the official course information material on our website, in our brochures, and during the initial inquiry process.
6. The Enrolment Process
Our enrolment process is designed to be straightforward and supportive.
- Initial Inquiry: A prospective learner contacts ADG to express interest in a specific program.
- Information Provision: The Training Manager provides the learner with detailed information about the course, including the specific admission criteria, learning outcomes, and fees.
- Application Submission: The learner completes and submits a formal application form along with all required supporting documentation.
- Review and Verification: The Training Manager reviews the application to verify that the learner meets all stated admission criteria.
- Acceptance and Enrolment: If the application is successful, the learner will receive a formal Letter of Acceptance. To confirm their place, the learner must complete the enrolment by making the required full payment as per our Fees, Cancellations, and Refunds Policy.
- Learner Induction: Once enrolled, the learner will be provided with an induction to the program, either in-person or digitally, which covers the course schedule, QMS policies, and support structures.
7. Required Documentation
All applicants must provide a certified copy of their South African ID or Passport. Depending on the specific program, additional documentation may be required, such as:
- Certified copies of previous qualifications.
- A detailed Curriculum Vitae (CV) or Resume.
- A completed medical declaration form.
- Proof of English language proficiency (for foreign learners, if applicable).
The Training Manager will inform the applicant of the exact documentation required for their chosen course.
8. Equal Opportunity
ADG is an equal opportunity provider. We do not discriminate against any applicant on the basis of race, gender, religion, marital status, sexual orientation, disability, or age. All applicants will be assessed solely on their ability to meet the published admission criteria.
9. Responsibilities
- Prospective Learner: Is responsible for providing accurate, complete information and for ensuring they meet the admission criteria before applying.
